How do I save my SVG file?

Inkscape SVG

In Inkscape, go to File > Save As and choose "Plain SVG" from the dropdown menu at the bottom, then click the Save button.

Illustrator SVG

In Illustrator, go to File > Save and choose "SVG (svg)" from the dropdown menu at the bottom, choose "Save on your computer" (if prompted), then click the Save button.
